Transcription: This is a bronze statue of Hungarian national hero Kosuth, who was born in 1802. A member of parliament, Kosuth led a revolt in his native land when the ruling government refused to recognize minority factions. He later toured the U.S. and was hailed as the Hungarian George Washington. He died in exile in 1894.
